Analyst, Trading Solutions
JOB PURPOSE:
Serve as a functional and technical subject matter expert in ADNOC Trading by managing digital change and ensuring that solutions meet the needs and expectations of business users and IT colleagues.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
Systems Operations Management
- Gather, analyze and document digital solution requirements from business stakeholders and IT colleagues.
- Translate and document requirements to developers and system support teams to ensure that digital solutions meet stakeholder needs.
- Test system fixes and changes to ensure that they have been implemented correctly and to the necessary quality.
- Provide training and ongoing system support for users.
- Determine the priority of fixes and changes with stakeholders across the different business areas and help to schedule and deliver them accordingly.
- Become a subject matter expert in ADNOC Trading processes and the digital solutions that support them (primarily, a Commodities Trading Risk Management system called Aspect).

- Provide input for preparation of the department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Department objectives.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Support implementation of approved department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures to support execution of the department’s program of work.
Performance Management
- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the department in line with the AGT Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Identify business and IT process improvements and help to implement these.
Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare department progress reports for AGT Management and the Compliance department.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent - required?
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 6+ years of work experience in an IT department - required?
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- A solid understanding of basic IT concepts, skills, and tools, and a willingness to learn more
- Ability to troubleshoot sometimes complex system issues
- Experience in managing digital change from capturing issues and requirements through to IT delivery
- Familiarity with change management tools such as Azure DevOps would be a bonus
